The residential and office building Eickener Straße 187-189 stands in the district Eicken in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).
The house was built in 1909/1910. It was entered under No. E 015 on September 13, 1988 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
House no. 187–189, together with the following buildings no. 185, 191, 193 and 195, form a closed group of historic residential buildings that continues into the "Eickener Höhe".
The three-storey rental apartment building with a Baroque style tail gable and extended mansard roof dates from 1909–1910. Sparsely decorated stucco facade facing the street , all in all smoothly plastered in a four-axis structure. Vertically accentuated on the right and left by a flat bay window that spans both floors .
