A second hour of good humor is the successor to the comedy album One hour of good humor by the GDR comedians Herricht & Preil . It was released in 1976 by Litera on cassette and record. All recordings are live recordings from various GDR stages.

Content of the skits

  • The garden friend: Herricht and Preil talk about Herricht's garden, then they play the “apple shot scene” by Wilhelm Tell .
  • The thriller: Preil wants to go to the cinema and explains a thriller to Herricht based on the film by Edgar Wallace .
  • The vet: Herricht wants to buy a dog and Preil tells him about dog diseases.
  • The stamp: Preil wants to go to the post office. He shows Herricht his stamp collection and describes how things go at a counter at the post office.
