The one power in Saxony GmbH & Co. KG ( one ) is a Saxon energy supplier based in Chemnitz . The company was created in the summer of 2010 from the merger of Stadtwerke Chemnitz and Erdgas Südsachsen GmbH.
Shareholders
25.5% of the shares are each owned by the special purpose association “Gasversorgung in Südsachsen” and the city of Chemnitz . The municipal holding company Thüga owns 39.9% and Envia Mitteldeutsche Energie 9.1%. The employees have seven seats on the supervisory board, Thüga four, Chemnitz and the Zweckverband five seats each.

The company supplies around 400,000 household and commercial customers in the former Chemnitz district . While natural gas, electricity, heating, cooling and water as well as energy-related services are offered in the area of the city of Chemnitz, natural gas is predominant in the rest of the supply area. Eins Energie in Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG emerged from the merger of Erdgas Südsachsen GmbH with Stadtwerke Chemnitz AG in August 2010. In Chemnitz and in eight operating locations in southern Saxony, more than 680 employees ( over 1,100 in the entire eins group) generate an annual turnover of 1.098 billion euros (fiscal year 2019).
More than 80 percent of the added value flows back into the communities supplied by one. Since 1990, the company has invested more than 2.7 billion euros in infrastructure and security of supply in southern Saxony, and secures this with around 70 to 90 million euros annually. The energy service provider is committed to youth, sport and culture in the traditional supply area.
In the supply area in the electricity and gas media, one is primarily in competition with the energy supplier enviaM.
The company has a stake in Kom9 , a shareholder in Thüga AG, among others .

Others
The energy supplier regularly supports fire brigades with monetary donations. In addition, a fire container was rented for hot training at the Leipzig / Halle airport fire department in 2016 and 2017 .
