Einsteinhaus Bern
The Einsteinhaus at Kramgasse 49 in Bern houses a museum on the life and work of Albert Einstein .
From 1903 to 1905, when he worked for the Swiss Patent Office , Einstein rented an apartment on the second floor of the house, where he lived with his first wife Mileva Marić . To commemorate his stay in Bern from 1902 to 1909, the apartment is furnished in the style of that time and is open to the public.
