The Railway Operations Manager Ordinance (EBV) was issued by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research on July 7, 2000. Among other things, it regulates the appointment as well as the tasks and powers of an operations manager for railways .
