Iron bars (Benedictine priory La Réole)
The iron grating in the former Benedictine priory (today partly used as a town hall) in La Réole , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 18th century. In 1971 the wrought iron grille was classified as a monument historique .
The iron grating inside the building complex was made by Blaise Charlut. At the end of an arched corridor, the inner building can only be reached through the double-leaf door. This is adorned by a baroque overhang .
