The ice rink Bremerhaven was an ice rink in Bremerhaven , which was the home of the Fischtown Pinguins from the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga until March 2011 . Other users were the ice hockey club EHC Bremerhaven and the ice skating clubs REV Bremerhaven and SC Bremerhaven .
With a total of 2,050 seats and fewer than ten percent seats, the partially open arena was the stadium with the lowest spectator capacity in the entire 2nd Bundesliga. Until the ice rink in the neighboring town hall was dismantled, it was a training hall. The hall was administered by the Bremerhaven Event and Exhibition Center . Times were reserved for public ice skating at the weekend.
In July 2011, the demolition work on the ice rink began.
