The Eisarena Bremerhaven is an ice rink in Bremerhaven that has been the home of the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven since March 2011 . From the 2016/17 season the club will play in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL), the highest league in German ice hockey. They took the place of the disbanded Hamburg Freezers .

With a total of 4,647 seats, including 3,123 seats and 168 VIP seats, the ice arena fulfills the requirements of the 9000-point plan of the German Ice Hockey League .

In November 2009 construction of the ice arena began next to the Bremerhaven town hall and opened on March 6, 2011. It replaces the Bremerhaven ice rink . Within a few hours, the arena for the opening game was sold out. The Fischtown Pinguins played the opening game against the Hanover Indians , with the Pinguins winning 3-1. Carsten Gosdeck scored the first goal in the new ice rink . The international game premiere in the new ice arena was on April 14, 2011, when Germany met Finland .

From 11 to 17 December 2016, the games of Group A of the Ice Hockey World Championship of the U20 Juniors 2017 (Division I) took place in the ice arena .
