The Iserlohn ice rink , which is also known as the ice rink on the Seilersee because of its location , is an ice rink in the city of Iserlohn , North Rhine-Westphalia . She is the owner of the facility. The main user is the Iserlohn Roosters ' DEL Club , which uses the hall both as a training venue and as a home venue. In addition, the youngsters, the Young Roosters , and other amateur teams train and play in the stadium. The hall is open for a few hours almost every afternoon for public ice skating.
The ice rink was originally identical to the KENSTON ARENA in Duisburg , the ice rink at the Westbahnhof in Essen and the Hannibal Arena in Herne . However, all four halls have now been converted or expanded independently of one another.
At the moment there is a restaurant in the stadium, the so-called “Roosters Inn”, two VIP bleachers and several ice hockey shops. The hall has a capacity of 4,967 spectators, the 5,000 spectator limit was deliberately fallen below because new regulations would have applied. Since the 2007/08 DEL season , the hall has also had a further expansion stage, so that there are currently 3,297 standing, 1,166 sitting, 526 VIP and 10 wheelchair spaces. This turned the back gate grandstand into a VIP area and the standing room was increased by six auxiliary grandstands. The guest block was relocated from the back gate to the standing room straight.
