KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten (formerly KSP Engel und Zimmermann Architekten ) is a German architecture office with around 250 employees. It has branches in Braunschweig, Frankfurt / Main, Berlin, Munich, Beijing and Shenzhen.

history

In 1975 the architects Friedrich Wilhelm Kraemer and Ernst Sieverts , who were already partners in the KPS ( Kraemer-Pfennig-Sieverts ) office, founded Kraemer, Sieverts & Partner ( KSP for short ) in Cologne . With the generation change of the managing partners, the office was renamed first to KSP Engel Kraemer Schmiedecke Zimmermann , then to KSP Engel und Zimmermann Architekten . After the departure of the former managing director and partner Michael Zimmermann on September 3, 2009, the office was renamed KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten .

The spectrum of work ranges from urban planning and architecture to product design . The office's credo is "Good architecture must be thought of by the people, be economical and adaptable. The opportunities for future-oriented buildings lie in simple, flexible structures."
