The Ekesteinen (Norwegian for spoke stone ) is an isolated rock formation in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . At the eastern end of the Shcherbakov Mountains in the Orvinfjella it rises 5.5 km southeast of the Smirnov Peak .

Norwegian cartographers, who also named it in 1967, mapped the rock using surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
