Ekkehardt Hofmann
Ekkehardt Hofmann (* 1942 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ) is a freelance German artist, lecturer and author.
Life
After his training as a teacher, he taught as a lecturer at the State Institute in Ansbach . Since 1985 Ekkehardt Hofmann has dealt intensively with drawing , watercolor and acrylic painting . He has been working as a freelance artist since 2002. Hofmann has been imparting his specialist knowledge since 1990 as a lecturer at the Bad Reichenhall Academy, in the creative atelier in Nuremberg-Dassel as well as in painting courses in the private studio in Leutershausen and on painting trips abroad.
Works
Ekkehardt Hofmann's works can be seen in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad and some of them have been bought by public institutes. Hofmann's pictures combine the traditional techniques of watercolor painting with innovative picture concepts and in some cases also experimental compositions. In 2002 Hofmann received 1st prize at the Southwest German Watercolor Prize.
