Elżbieta Pierzchała

Elżbieta Apolonia Pierzchała (born July 5, 1954 in Sosnowiec ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Elżbieta Pierzchała studied at the Silesian Technical University and graduated from the Department of Transport and Traffic with a transport engineer. Between 1978 and 2005 she worked for the Polskie Koleje Państwowe ( Polish State Railways ). There she was, among other things, director of the Silesian Regional Transport Company in Katowice . From 1998 Elżbieta Pierzchała was also a member of the Sejmik of the Silesian Voivodeship . In the parliamentary elections in 2005 , she was able to win a seat for the Sejm . She defended this in the early parliamentary elections in 2007 with 8553 votes.

Elżbieta Pierzchała is widowed and has a daughter.
