Silesian Technical University
The Silesian University of Technology ( Polish : Politechnika Śląska ) is a university in the Polish province of Silesia , based in Gliwice ( Gleiwitz ). It was founded in 1945 and currently trains around 32,000 students. The university is divided into the following institutes:

Arkadiusz Mężyk is the rector of the Silesian Technical University in Gliwice (term of office 2016–2020).
Two well-known buildings of the university are the red and the gray chemistry building .
