The Technical University of Warsaw ( Polish Politechnika Warszawska ) is a technical university in the Polish capital Warsaw with around 30,000 students and 2,000 teachers (2005).

Warsaw University of Technology was founded in 1826 and today has 17 faculties. The rector of the university is Jan Szmidt.

In 2018, Times Higher Education ranked the university within the 601-800 band worldwide.
