El Eulma ( Arabic العلمة, DMG al-ʿUlma ) is a municipality in the province of Sétif in northern Algeria with 145,380 inhabitants (as of 2008). It is located 210 km east of Algiers .

According to the Köppen and Geiger climate classification , El Eulma has a Mediterranean climate (Csa). The average annual temperature is 13.5 degrees Celsius. About 482 mm of precipitation falls annually.
history
During the French colonial era, the city was known as Saint Arnaud after Marshal Armand-Jacques-Achille Leroy de Saint-Arnaud .
