El Olmo is a small hamlet (Spanish: pedanía ) in the province of Segovia , Autonomous Region of Castile and León , Spain .

El Olmo is located on the SG-232 road between Sepúlveda (8 km) and Boceguillas (4 km) and 2 km north of the Río Duratón .
history
This place was first known in 1204 under the name Santa Maria del Olmo . The short form El Olmo was introduced in 1759. Since 1847 El Olmo has been part of the municipality of Barbolla, which today also belongs to the municipality of Sepúlveda.
Worth seeing
- Parque Natural de las Hoces del Río Duratón (nature reserve 9 km west of El Olmo)
- Nuestra Señora de la Natividad, a 13th century church surrounded by the typical houses of the region. Inside the church there are two panels by the painter de Duruelo from the 16th century.
