The Elazığ Ataturk Stadium ( Turkish Elazığ Ataturk Stadyumu ) is a football stadium in the Turkish city of Elazığ in the province of the same name . The home games of the Elazığspor football club take place in the sports facility .
The main and opposite stands of the seating stadium are covered; the stadium curves, however, are in the open air. It currently has space for 14,467 spectators. The playing field made of natural grass is surrounded by a running track . Next to the stadium there is a training ground and several tennis courts . The opening took place in 1974 and the last modernization was done in 2010.
