Eldon Walli
Eldon W. Walli (born January 28, 1913 in New York , † August 26, 2003 in Dießen ) was an American war correspondent .
Life
Although a native of the United States, Walli worked for the German SS as a journalist. The report of the 25-year-old Nazi reporter from Vienna became famous, where he reported on the effects of the November pogroms for the “Reichssender Wien” in November 1938 .
After the war Walli worked as the head of a record company. The Common Authority File (GND) notes about him as professional information: "Humorist, moderator, reporter, record dealer".
