Eleanor McKenzie
Eleanor McKenzie (married Miller; born June 29, 1931 in Vancouver ) is a former Canadian sprinter .
Life
At the British Empire Games in Auckland in 1950 , she won bronze with the Canadian 660-yard relay and came fourth in the Canadian 440-yard relay. Over 100 and 220 yards she was eliminated in the preliminary run.
In 1952 she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi-finals over 200 m at the Olympic Games in Helsinki . In the 4 x 100 meter relay , she was eliminated with the Canadian quartet in the lead.
Four times she was Canadian champion over 100 yards or 100 m (1949, 1951-1953), twice over 220 yards (1949, 1951) and once over 60 yards (1953).
In 1952 she married the pole vaulter Ron Miller .
