Ron Miller (athlete)
Ron Miller (actually Ronald Rowan Miller; born August 28, 1929 in Toronto , † April 18, 2010 in Collingwood , Ontario ) was a Canadian pole vaulter .
In 1950 he was fifth at the British Empire Games in Auckland . At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he was eliminated from qualification. In 1954 he won silver at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver with his personal best of 4.20 m.
He was Canadian champion six times (1949, 1952-1956).
In 1952 he married the sprinter Eleanor McKenzie .
