Electric Hippies was the name of a pop duo from Sydney , Australia . The members were Steve Balbi and Justin Stanley.

biography

From the rock band Noiseworks , which was able to place several singles and albums in the Australian charts between 1986 and 1991 , the Electric Hippies emerged in 1994. The duo played pop that was heavily influenced by the sound of the 1960s, especially the Beatles . The single Greedy People was released in 1994 on RooArt Records' own label and hit the charts in both Australia and Germany . The album Electric Hippies , on which 30 years of rock history were caricatured, was only a top 25 success at home.
