The BYD L3 is a passenger car from the Chinese manufacturer BYD Auto , which was formally presented at Auto China 2010 and introduced in the same year.
The L3 is BYD's third compact class sedan after the BYD F3 and the BYD G3 . In terms of price and equipment, the L3 is positioned above the other two models; it has the 1.8-liter engine of the G3 and a standard navigation system . Still uncommon for Chinese cars, airbags for the driver and front passenger are standard. Side curtain airbags are available in a package together with a TV receiver. The BYD L3 is only available in Asia and costs 92,800 yuan in China and 118,800 yuan in the upscale configuration (as of 2010).
