The BYD F6 is a mid-range sedan from the Chinese car manufacturer BYD , which was formally presented at Auto Shanghai in 2007 .

The F6, built between 2008 and 2012, is a typical mid-range sedan with a notchback .

Furnishing

All models are equipped as standard with a DVD player, air conditioning, a keyless start system comparable to the Keyless Go , and heated leather seats.

Plug-in hybrid concept vehicle

At the NAIAS 2008 BYD shows a concept vehicle called BYD F6DM that was equipped with plug-in hybrid technology.

Technical specifications

In the BYD F6, a two -liter gasoline engine with 103 kW (140 PS) (BYD's own development) or a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with 121 kW (165 PS) ( Mitsubishi ) are used. Both engines are inline four-cylinder . A manual 5-speed gearbox (BYD) and an automatic gearbox developed by Mitsubishi with manual preselection options are available. The standard equipment includes an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, which was taken over from Bosch .
