The BYD G5 is a mid-range sedan from the Chinese car manufacturer BYD Auto , a subsidiary of the BYD group.

history

The vehicle was presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2014 as the successor to the BYD G3 . It went on sale in China in September 2014. In 2017 the sedan was discontinued without replacement.

Technical specifications

The sedan was powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 113 kW (154 hp). A 6-speed manual gearbox was available as standard, a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox was available at an additional cost .
