The BYD e5 is an electrically powered sedan from the Chinese car manufacturer BYD .
history
The vehicle based on the BYD Su Rui went on sale in China in spring 2016 as the e5 300 . In contrast to the BYD Qin EV 300 powered by the same engine , the e5 has a lower purchase price.
Technical specifications
The e5 is powered by a 160 kW (218 hp) electric motor with a maximum torque of 310 Nm. The maximum speed of the vehicle is a regulated 130 km / h. The range was 305 km until 2018 and has been given as 400 km since then.
