The BYD S8 is a convertible from the Chinese manufacturer BYD Auto with a steel roof.

The prototype of the car was still referred to as the BYD F8 at Auto China 2006 . The rear is strikingly reminiscent of the conceptually similar Renault Mégane CC , while the front is reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz CLK .

The vehicle no longer appeared in the sales figures in the first half of 2010 and was only sold seven times in the full 2010 financial year. The production has since been stopped.
