Eleftherios Katsaitis
Eleftherios Katsaitis ( Greek Ελευθέριος Κατσαΐτης , * 1929 in Patras ; † January 6, 2012 in Athens ) was a Greek Orthodox bishop .
Katsaitis studied at the Halki Theological School ( Heybeliada near Istanbul ) in 1962 . He was ordained a deacon in 1951 and a priest in 1956. From 1987 to 1994 he was Eleutherios von Nyssa in the Archdiocese of Thyatira and Great Britain (including Ireland) based in London , part of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople , as bishop.
He probably died as a result of a robbery.
