Elfriede Harrer-Friesenbichler

Elfriede Harrer-Friesenbichler (born December 26, 1953 as Elfriede Harrer in Gmunden ; † December 8 or 9, 1986 in Linz ) was an Austrian trade unionist and politician ( SPÖ ). From 1985 until her death she was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

After attending compulsory school, Elfriede Harrer-Friesenbichler was a secretary in the private employees ' union , which she joined at the age of 14. From 1981 she was chairwoman of the ÖGB women's department, from 1985 she was a member of the OGB presidium.

Harrer-Friesenbichler had been married since 1985. On the night of December 8th to 9th, 1986, she died of cancer.

1985 Harrer-Friesenbichler was elected to the Upper Austrian Landtag; She belonged to this until her death. In their place, Maximilian Lakitsch moved up to the state parliament.
