Elfriede Klemmert

Elfriede Klemmert , b. Hamelbeck, (born December 21, 1924 in Bonn ) is a German CDU politician .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1942 and the subsequent labor service, Klemmert, who is Roman Catholic , studied law and political science in Bonn , Cologne and Strasbourg . In 1947 she passed the legal traineeship and in 1951 the Great State Examination. She then worked as a notary assessor and from 1957 to 1997 as a notary. She was married since 1959.

Already shortly after the Second World War, Klemmert joined the Junge Union in Bonn. She was initially the district chairman of the JU in Bonn. Since 1955 she has been deputy state chairwoman of the JU in the Rhineland and a member of the federal executive committee.

In 1954 she joined the CDU, and soon she was a member of the CDU regional committee in the Rhineland. In 1956 she became a city councilor in Bonn. From 1957 to 1961 she was a member of the German Bundestag .
