Eliana is a female given name not only common in Romance-speaking countries . It is the feminine form of Elias as well as the Italian and Spanish forms of Eliane . The name day is November 17th.

Origin and meaning

In Hebrew, the name literally means 'My God has answered', and at the same time corresponds to the male form Elias from the Hebrew אֱלִיָּהוּ Elijahu, which means 'My God is YHWH '. The Italian / Greek meaning of Eliana is "The Sun" or "Daughter of the Sun".

distribution
