The Elin Pelin Point (English; Bulgarian нос Елин Пелин nos Elin Pelin ) is a headland on the northwest coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 4.5 km north-northeast of Cape James .

Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the pseudonym of the Bulgarian writer Dimitar Stojanow (1877–1949).
