Elin Topusakow ( Bulgarian Елин Топузаков ; born February 5, 1977 in Dimitrovgrad ) is a former Bulgarian football player at Hapoel Tel Aviv . He played a total of 315 games in the Bulgarian A Grupa and the Israeli Ligat ha'Al . With Levski Sofia he won the Bulgarian championship in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007. His nickname is Topcho ( Bulgarian Топчо ).

Career

He started his career at FC Dimitrovgrad and moved to Levski Sofia in January 1995 . He is considered one of the best defenders to have ever played for Levski Sofia. He is also one of the few players who won the championship three times in a row in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and who stayed with the team for so long. Between 1995 and 2008 he played a total of 313 games for Levski. In 2008 he then moved to Tel Aviv.

National team

Topuzakov made his debut for the Bulgarian national team in a friendly against South Korea in 2003 .
