Elisabeth Grübl

Elisabeth Grübl (born January 19, 1961 in Tamsweg ) is an Austrian artist .

life and work

Elisabeth Grübl studied sculpture with Bruno Gironcoli at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts from 1990 to 1996 . Further studies were from 1998 to 1999 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki with Lauri Antila and Oliver Whitehead; 1994 a winter semester at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg with Franz Erhard Walther and in August 1990 at the summer academy in Salzburg with Lauren Ewing.

She has numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Her work includes indoor and outdoor installations, video, laser and sound works, computer animation, interactive installations, contextual works, concepts, photos and objects.

Elisabeth Grübl lives and works in Vienna . She is a member of the Association of Visual Artists of the Vienna Secession , like her brother, Manfred Grübl .
