Elisabeth Sure

Elisabeth Klar (* 1986 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author .

Life

Elisabeth Klar studied comparative literature and transcultural communication; she graduated from the University of Vienna in 2012 with a diploma. In 2013 she took third place in the FM4 short story competition Wortlaut . In 2014, Wie im Wald released her debut novel, which made it onto the ORF best list and the shortlist of the Rauris Literature Prize 2015 and received the sponsorship award from the City of Vienna. In 2017 her second novel was published with water breathe . Together with Susanne Müller, she runs the Vienna Literature Workshop.
