Rauris Literature Prize

The Rauris Literature Prize has been awarded by the Salzburg state government since 1972 for the best first publication of prose in German . The prize is awarded as part of the Rauris Literature Days. The literature prize is endowed with 10,000 euros (as of 2022). In addition, the state government, together with the market town of Rauris , will award a sponsorship prize, which is endowed with 5000 euros (as of 2022).

As part of the Rauris Literature Days, the Günter Eich Prize (for poetry) was also awarded three times as an extra prize to the Rauris Literature Prize.
