Anna Albinus

Anna Albinus (born 1986 in Mainz ) is a German writer .

Life

Anna Albinus studied Catholic theology , Jewish studies and art history in Freiburg im Breisgau and Jerusalem and lives with her family in Vienna .

For her novella Revolver Christi she was awarded the debut prize of 10,000 euros at the Austrian Book Prize 2021. In it she tells a story about a revolver that is marketed as a tourist attraction and worshiped as a relic. The book was also included in the 10-title Independent Publishers Hotlist 2021.
