Elisabeth of Bavaria (1913-2005)

Elisabeth Maria Anna Henriette Josepha Sophie Amalia Ferdinanda Ludovika Antonia Theresia Kreszentia Ala Ghislane von Bayern (born October 10, 1913 in Munich ; † March 3, 2005 ) was a German princess from the Wittelsbach family . She was the daughter of Prince Alfons of Bavaria and his wife Louise Victoire .

Life

On May 6, 1939, she married Count Franz Joseph von Kageneck in Nymphenburg Palace . They had three children:

  • Hubertus Joseph Alphonse Carl Michael Maria Graf von Kageneck (born August 10, 1940), married four times, most recently to Archduchess Michaela of Austria
  • Michael Klemens Maria Graf von Kageneck (December 4, 1941– October 11, 2012), married three times, six children
  • Peter Graf von Kageneck (December 4, 1941– June 24, 2009), married to Brigitte von Sivers, three children

After her first husband had died in 1941, she married Ernst Kustner on May 9, 1944, and in church on June 6, 1944. They were divorced on August 13, 1953. They had four children:

  • Maria Anna Josephine Kustner (born June 10, 1943)
  • Felicitas Kustner (born June 23, 1945)
  • Christina Kustner (born December 20, 1946)
  • Gabriele Kustner (born January 3, 1948)
