Elizabeth of York (1444–1503 / 04)
Elizabeth of York , Duchess of Suffolk (born April 22, 1444 in Rouen , † between January 7, 1503 and May 3, 1504 in Wingfield , Suffolk , England ). She was the third daughter of Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York , and his wife Cecily Neville , her brothers were Kings Edward IV and Richard III.
Between 1458 and 1460, Elisabeth married John de la Pole, 2nd Duke of Suffolk , with whom she had at least eleven children:

- Edmund de la Pole, 3rd Duke of Suffolk (* 1472; † 1513)
- Richard de la Pole († 1525, died in the Battle of Pavia )

- Edward de la Pole, Archdeacon of Richmond († 1485)

- Dorothy de la Pole
Her sons were considered, since Richard III. after the death of his son Edward had no direct heirs as heir to the throne of the House of York on the English throne.
