Elke-Vera Kotowski

Elke-Vera Kotowski (* 1961 in Hagen ) is a German social scientist .

Life

Kotowski studied political, literary and cultural studies as well as philosophy in Berlin and Duisburg (graduate social scientist 1990). From 1990 to 1994 she worked as an editor at Zeitgeist Verlag in Düsseldorf. From 1994 to 2000 she worked at the Chair for German-Jewish History (Professorship Julius H. Schoeps ) at the Historical Institute of the University of Potsdam . In 2000 she was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. Since then she has worked at the Moses Mendelssohn Center for European-Jewish Studies in Potsdam and coordinator of the Walther-Rathenau-Graduiertenkolleg. She is the author and editor of numerous publications.
