Elke Achleitner
Elke Achleitner (born April 2, 1964 in Ried im Innkreis , Upper Austria) is an Austrian geodesist and politician of the BZÖ , until the split she was with the FPÖ .
After graduating from high school in Ried im Innkreis (1982), she studied surveying at Vienna University of Technology and graduated in 1990 with the degree of Dipl.-Ing. from. After two years as a university assistant , she switched to physical geodesy at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich for a year and followed up with a postgraduate course in geoinformation in Vienna . 1993-98 followed the civil engineer training in a surveying office and the geodata management department at the Linz City Administration . In 1995 Achleitner became a lecturer at the Institute for Geography at the University of Salzburg .
The technician has been a member of the Ried im Innkreis municipal council since 2001 and is the spokesperson for the Freedom Women Initiative in the political district of the same name . In 2002 she was elected to the National Council, but left parliament again in 2006 because of the previous split between the FPÖ and BZÖ .
