Elke Clijsters (born January 18, 1985 in Bilzen ) is a former Belgian tennis player .
Career
Elke, the younger sister of the successful tennis player Kim Clijsters , started playing tennis at the age of five. She won one singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit . Her highest world ranking positions were 389th in singles and 244th in doubles. In 2004 she ended her professional career.
For the Belgian Fed Cup team , she played four games (three doubles) from 2002 to 2004, none of which she could win.
She is married to the Belgian soccer player Jelle Van Damme . Her father was the Belgian soccer player Leo Clijsters , (1956-2009).
