Trivia

In order to be accepted into the youth academy of Esporte Clube Vitória, Elkeson made himself two years younger at the age of 13 by forging his documents. Those responsible for Vitória got behind this hoax, but finally kept the talented youth player.

In the summer of 2019, he took on Chinese citizenship - after which he had to give himself a new name and is now called Ai Kesen.
