Elles Bailey

Elles Bailey is a British singer-songwriter . Her roots - and blues- based music is given a special touch by her smoky voice. She counts Janis Joplin in particular among her role models .

biography

At the age of three, Elles Bailey fell ill with pneumonia and had to be ventilated through a tube for 17 days , which explains her smoky voice.

She had her first appearances in Bristol and the surrounding area. She has appeared in support of musicians such as Wille and the Bandits and Jo Harman . Their first EP, Who Am I To Me , was released in 2015, followed by Elberton Sessions in 2016 , both produced by Brian Banks, who worked on Michael Jackson's album Thriller .

In 2017, Bailey's first album Wildfire was released , recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville , Tennessee . The second album Road I Call Home (2019) was also recorded mainly in Nashville.
