Elles de Graaf (born September 20, 1974 in Alkmaar ) is an internationally successful Dutch trance singer and dancer.

Life

Elles de Graaf first attended the well-known music school Stichting Amsterdamse Balletacademie of Lucia Marthas, where she studied show, jazz , street dance , ballet and acrobatics. Soon she was performing as a dancer at concerts , theaters and television shows , and worked as an advertising model. She founded her own agency for show dance and choreography . She also appeared as a background singer.

Elles de Graaf made her breakthrough as a singer in 2001 when she sang for producer Armin van Buuren , who recorded vocals for one of his tracks The Sound Of Goodbye with her. This single was released internationally under the pseudonym Perpetuous Dreamer and immediately reached high chart positions in many countries.

Elles de Graaf began her solo career in 2003 with the release of her solo single Circles Of Why (Without You) by producers Greg Murray and Robert Gitelman . Since this single she has worked with the most important trance DJs such as Tiësto , Ferry Corsten , Piet Blank , Jaspa Jones ( Blank & Jones ), sunshine live DJ Charly The Diggerman , Marcel Woods and also Mike Nichol .

In summer 2011 she celebrated her tenth anniversary in the trance scene. On the occasion of this, there was the world premiere of their latest single Tears From The Moon on the German radio station Sunshine Live . The track is a cover version of the track of the same name by Conjure One feat. Sinéad O'Connor . At the beginning of January 2012, the second single Fallen , originally by Sarah McLachlan , was also presented exclusively on Sunshine Live. The album includes a. other remakes like Innocente ( Delerium ) and Take Me Away (Into The Night) ( 4 strings ).
