Elli Medeiros
Elli Medeiros (born January 18, 1956 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan actress and singer .
Life
At the age of 14, Medeiros moved to Paris . After dropping out of school a few years later, she joined the punk band Stinky Toys . After the dissolution of the band she founded together with former Stinky Toy -member Jacno the electro-pop duo Elli et Jacno . Together they released several albums. This also included the soundtrack to Eric Rohmer's film Vollmondnächte ( Les Nuits de la Pleine Lune ). In 1986 she started a solo career and also sang the back-up vocals of some of his songs on the album Eden for Étienne Daho .
She also played in various French films, including productions by the directors Olivier Assayas and Philippe Garrel .
