Elli Ochowicz

Elizabeth (Elli) Ochowicz (born December 15, 1983 in Waukesha , Wisconsin ) is an American speed skater . It specializes in the short distances of 500 and 1000 meters.
On the 500-meter course she was at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City 22nd and 2006 in Turin , she was 23rd place. At the US championships she was able to win on various routes in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
She is the daughter of 1976 Olympic champion Sheila Young and Jim Ochowicz , a cyclist who was president of the US cycling association USA Cycling until 2006 .
