Ellingsøytunnel

The Ellingsøytunnel ( Norwegian Ellingsøytunnelen ) is an undersea tunnel in the Norwegian province of Møre og Romsdal . It connects the islands of Ellingsøya and Nørvøya and - like the Valderøytunnel - is one of the links between the city of Ålesund and its airport .

The tunnel is 3,481 meters long and has three lanes. It is up to 140 meters below sea level.
