Elmira Shamiljewna Alembekowa
Elmira Schamiljewna Alembekowa ( Russian Эльмира Шамильевна Алембекова , English transcription Elmira Alembekova; born June 30, 1990 ) is a Russian walker .
At the 2005 World Youth Championships in Marrakech , she won silver in the 5000 meter walk. In 10,000 meters she won silver at the Junior World Championships in 2008 in Bydgoszcz and gold at the Junior European Championships in 2009 in Novi Sad .
In 2014 she won the European Championships in Zurich in the 20 km walk .
She set her personal best over this distance of 1:24:47 h on February 27, 2015 in Sochi .
After a positive doping test in June 2015, she was suspended.
