Ryta Turawa
Marharyta Mikalajeuna "Ryta" Turawa ( Belarusian Маргарыта Мікалаеўна "Рыта" Турава ; English transcription Ryta Turava ; born December 20, 1980 in Vitebsk ) is a Belarusian walker .
The sixth at the 1998 Junior World Championships in 5000-meter walking had her breakthrough at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , where she was fourth in the 20-km walk , 14 seconds away from bronze .
At the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki she won the silver medal over the same distance and the gold medal at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg .
Ryta Turawa is 1.72 m tall and weighs 68 kg.
